Conquering Vestrahorn

Top contributor goncaloafranco earned a Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot for this fantastic first person view (FPV) drone video from Iceland.  The video was filmed over and around Vestrahorn, a mountain which is part of the Stokksnes headlands near the town of Hofn, on the island's southeastern coast.  Vestrahorn is distinguished by its sharp jagged peaks, which rise to an altitude of about 1.5k ft. (about 500 m) above the nearby seas.  As you'll see in the video, the mountain overlooks one of Iceland's famous black sand beaches.

Description:

For the longest time i've imagined how it would be to ride the ridge line of Vestrahorn, one of the places in Iceland where i find the most inner peace, all coming together in Stokksnes beach. The stunning beauty of this place leaves me in awe every single time.

It's a dream flight for me, enjoy it!
