The Golden Weeks – An FPV Love Letter to My Home

This is my home. Everything in this edit was filmed within 20 km of my house.

From mid-June to mid-July, the grain ripens here and turns the whole landscape into shimmering gold. And here's the fascinating part: every type of grain has its own shade of gold. Some lean towards a soft rosé, others towards deep bronze – an incredible palette of golden tones. And then there are the sunflowers with their almost aggressive yellow, glowing far brighter than everything around them, especially in the morning light.

This edit brings together the best moments of that golden season: long cinematic flows over endless sunflower fields, the occasional gap through a row of trees, low passes over ripe wheat straight into the sunset, the combine harvesters rolling through the golden dust, backlit by the golden glow of sunset – and the patterns of the freshly harvested fields they leave behind.

No rush, no tricks for the sake of tricks. Just calm ambient music, warm light and the golden weeks before, during and after the harvest. Lean back and enjoy.
