Melbourne City Skyline - Winter 2026

Top AirVuz contributor Gizmo Drones earned a DVOW Finalist spot for this excellent drone video of Melbourne, Australia, filmed during the (Southern Hemisphere) winter months.  At the :05 mark, there's a nice shot looking northwest towards the CBD from the Kings Domain, followed by a view of the Melbourne Wheel.  At :17, there's a nice shot heading towards Docklands Stadium.  Other highlights include the Australia 108 building, Australia's tallest skyscraper as of 2026 (:48), the Melbourne Cricket Ground (1:17), and more.

Description:

This drone video captures shots of Melbourne's awesome skyline, taken during Winter 2026, which ended a week ago. Even though the days were short and usually cold, we often had beautiful days. In this video I have added some new shots of South Melbourne and Port Melbourne looking towards the city. I hope you like the video and thanks for watching, Brett - Gizmo Drones
